Una repudiable acción realizada por un grupo de desalmados que lanzaron piedras a un carro bomba cuando se dirigía a un siniestro de una casa habitación y un bus distante 6 kilómetros de Ovalle ocurrió la noche del jueves cerca de las 22.15 horas.
El hecho dejo a un voluntario Maquinista herido de consideración en su hombro y en sus ojos producto de las esquirlas de la explosión de vidrios productos de la pedrada recibida por la maquina B3.
Cerca de las 22.10 horas se recibió el llamado en la central de bomberos que daba cuenta de un siniestro en el Fundo San Felipe Oriente del sector el Reloj, al lugar concurrieron las maquinas B6, B3 y Qb2, Al cruzar la maquina B3 por el sector alto de la Chimba, el vehiculo recibió una lluvia de pedradas que provocaron que uno de los vidrios laterales quedara hecho trizas entre otros daños materiales recibidos por la maquina. En el incidente, el maquinista voluntario de la cuarta compañía de bomberos Ramón Milla, resulto con una herida en su hombro y en su ojo, por lo que debió ser trasladado de urgencia a la clínica de la Asociación Chilena de Seguridad. Al lugar del siniestro llego personal de carabineros quienes procedieron hacer un rastreo por el sector aunque sin resultados positivos. El comandante de la unidad Jorge Díaz Castro reprobó el ataque recibido por los voluntarios y reconoció que el hecho pudo haber tenido graves consecuencia ya que el conductor pudo haber perdido el control de la maquina y volcar en una quebrada de aproximados 60 metros con doce bomberos en su interior.
Ramón Milla voluntario de la cuarta compañía se encuentra en observación en la Achs de Ovalle y durante la mañana de hoy se estudiaba realizar una querella contra quienes resulten responsables.
